Currently in her third year earning her MSW at The University of Washington

Jamese is a queer, mixed-race Black and Latina graduate student in Clinical Social Work at University of Washington. With over 5 years in social services and a background in Family Studies and Human Development, she has supported individuals and families struggling with identity, belonging, and systemic barriers.

She draws from evidence-based approaches like strengths-based, trauma-informed care and psychoeducation to help individuals build resilience and self-compassion. Her work is collaborative and flexible - individuals often report that they appreciate the balance of warmth, clarity, and practical tools she brings into each interaction. She has specialized in supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and families navigating academic stress, mental health, and life transitions. She also brings lived experience and empathy as a queer person of color herself.

She enjoys facilitating workshops on well-being, mentoring emerging practitioners, and co-creating spaces where all individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered to progress towards their goals.
